Evgeny Burmistrov graduated from Mendeleyev Institute of Chemical Technology and Foreign Trade Academy (International Economics Faculty), PhD in Chemistry, Acting Member of the International Academy of Technological Sciences.
Evgeny Burmistrov was Director of the International Cooperation Department of the State Committee for Science and Technology (subsequently transformed into Science and Technology Ministry), he was employed at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna over a long period of time.
From 1997 to 2002 – Director of the UNIDO Center for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation.
From 2002 to 2007 – Vice President and subsequently Director General of the Managers of the New Era foundation.
From 2007 to date – Academic Secretary of the Russian Academy of Technological Sciences.
